When Battery Care Charging is selected, the system will automatically activate the cell balancing system. The active cell balancing technology equipped in this unit is derived from the same technology used in electric vehicles. During this process, the charging rate will be controlled, and the ultra-quiet charging mode will also be enabled.

Yes—as long as you stay within the S2400 solar input limits and use the correct connector/adapter. The S2400 solar input is 12–50V, 10A max, up to 400W, via DC7909 input. Also, always confirm your panel Voc stays within the allowed range.

Yes. The unit is designed with a low-power auto shut-off feature to reduce unnecessary battery drain. If the output stays below approximately 5W on AC or 3W on DC for a set period, the unit may shut off automatically. In ECO Mode, the auto shut-off time is about 2 hours for AC and 4 hours for DC. In Normal Mode, it is about 4 hours for AC and 20 hours for DC.

The UDPOWER S2400 can provide limited emergency EV charging in some situations, but it is not designed as a primary EV charging solution. It offers 2,400W AC output and 2,083Wh capacity, while most home EV charging is done through either Level 1 (120V) or Level 2 (240V) charging. If your EV charger uses a standard 120V plug and its actual power draw stays within the S2400’s output limit, the unit may provide a small temporary top-up. However, it is not intended for regular EV charging, and the added driving range will usually be very limited.
Our power stations are designed to power devices directly through the AC outlets on the unit.
We do not recommend connecting the unit directly to a home transfer switch unless the setup is reviewed and installed by a licensed electrician. Please note that our units provide U.S. standard 120V AC output and do not provide 240V output.
For safety, do not backfeed power into a home electrical panel or wall outlet. If you want to use it for home backup, please have a qualified electrician confirm whether your transfer switch setup is compatible.
No, this unit is not designed as a whole-home power station.
It is a portable power station made for powering selected essential devices, such as a refrigerator, CPAP machine, Wi-Fi router, lights, TV, laptop, or small appliances, as long as the total power demand is within the unit’s rated output.
Please note that our units provide U.S. standard 120V AC output only and do not provide 240V output. They are not intended to power an entire home electrical panel, central air conditioning, electric water heaters, large hardwired appliances, or other 240V household systems.
