The screen reading is an estimate, so small fluctuations are normal. This is especially noticeable when using low-power AC devices.
When you use the AC output, the inverter itself also consumes power. The inverter’s self-consumption is typically around 20–25W, and this power is not always shown separately on the screen. Because of that, with small devices, the actual battery drain can be higher than the appliance wattage shown on the display.
For example, if a small device only uses 15W, you also need to add the inverter’s 20–25W self-consumption. In that case, the total actual consumption may be around 35–40W, so the runtime will be shorter than expected if you only calculate based on the device wattage.
To better check the unit’s performance, we recommend testing it with a higher-power appliance. Under a load of around 1200W, the runtime will be about 1 hour, which gives a more accurate real-world reference for the battery capacity.
