This charger is a compact 24V 5A (120W) switch-mode wall power adapter designed for equipment that requires a stable 24V DC supply in a North American environment. With a wide 100–240VAC input range, this adapter can be used on standard 120V / 60Hz mains in the US and Canada, as well as other regions when used with the correct plug and mains rating.
Its regulated 24VDC output delivers up to 5.0A within a tight voltage window of 22.8–25.2V, making it suitable for demanding 24V applications such as LED drivers, control panels, test equipment, communication devices, and embedded systems that need clean DC power up to 120W. The adapter is engineered for efficiency, achieving energy efficiency Level VI with low standby consumption, which helps reduce operating costs and heat buildup in enclosed spaces.
For system safety and durability, the design integrates short-circuit, over-current, and over-voltage protection. The supply automatically recovers once the fault condition is cleared, minimizing downtime and service calls. Safety and EMC performance meet ETL 62368-1 and FCC Part 15B requirements, and isolation between primary and secondary is rated at 3000VAC for robust insulation.
The black enclosure uses a 2-pin US UL-type AC plug for simple wall mounting. The 24V output is provided through a 20AWG VW-1 DC cord approximately 47 inches (1.2 m) long, giving enough reach for typical desktop, rack, or wall-mount installations while keeping cable management straightforward.
